In this podcast ill be REVEALING why i deleted my instagram, twitter, tumblr and facebook profiles, elaborate on my full usage history as someone who grew up using social media, reminisce on the golden ages of AOL Instant Messenger and Myspace as well as revisit the horrific 2018 tumblr purge.

Obv, if you dont want to, dont, but as someone who rather liked the video (at least the last time i watched it before it was taken down, i cant remember specifics of the vid if im being 100% honest) im just curious if your opinions have180'd, do you still think its a problem etc other than that im here ust to vibe to BL shinanagins. gret ep~ lookig forward to the next one~!

My issue is anonymity because when I was younger, you didn't put your name out there, tell people where you live, etc. Especially in the PC gaming community. My life on my computer and my private life are separate (though my personality would be the same and I wouldn't be an ass to other people). I just prefer hanging out and playing games or watching stuff on Discord with friends. I still have Twitter to keep an art diary for myself, but I cannot stand infinity/doom scroll and may end up going over to ArtStation/Pixiv to curate artists that I love and inspire my art. Twitter is a cesspool and gives me anxiety to even go through it because of the shit that pops up. Thank you for sharing your experience!

I’m with you with abandoning social media as I’m fortunate that I don’t need it in my life and don’t find it interesting. Discord is a new type of animal, but I admit even with the content creators that I like, it takes me extra effort to join a discord channel. And not sure if it’s worth it in the end. I hang around Patreon and YouTube a lot more and prefer to support my favorite content creators that way. And I still love your videos. Keep it up!

There’s also this one manhwa author who went super crazy about people uploading their manhwa illegally and I understand if it’s licensed, it shouldn’t be uploaded for free but this author, imo, went too far. Also I don’t know why you had me laughing when you were spilling the tea on the bad pledgers haha. I joined tiktok recently and it’s not so bad but I post videos about BL and tell me why people get so angry that women read BL?? Someone said it’s only allowed to be consumed by gay men and Im just like what in the world. Anyways very entertaining podcast! I agree about pixiv. Sometimes artists even post full dj and I’m like yesss give me all the dj LOL.
