I do really love what you said about police unions are the fist of the ruling class vs. labor unions that represent workers challenging capitalism and the ruling class. That was spot on. The P.I. angle of Rosa reinforces the privatization of policing and surveillance. That fits right in with a neoliberal response that says privatization means more freedom, but less public accountability because she doesn't have to answer to anyone. And Jake getting a 5-month suspension likely means he's still paid for five months. That's still more money in policing. And if he live in Brooklyn, that's a lot of money.
