Top 8 Shows - Every Show I've Reacted to Ranked in Order

It's the question I've been asked most about by you all! How would I rank all the anime and tv shows I've reacted to on the channel so far? Well, here's the answer!

You can skip through the timeline to hear me talk about your favorite shows if you wish. I do recommend listening to the intro minutes first, as I'll explain my thought process and wanted to stress out how I've enjoyed every single show so far a lot.

Also, SPOILER WARNING! I do discuss some spoilers here and there for most of the anime I talk about. I think the only show I tried my hardest not to spoil was Better Call Saul, because I know many people in my audience may not have seen it and I want to recommend it to them haha. But keep that in mind!

Let me know in the comments which reaction journeys on the channel you enjoyed the most so far! Thanks for all your support :)

Top 8 Shows - Every Show I've Reacted to Ranked in Order

Tbh i had the same outlook of anime as you before being completely proven wrong by AOT. However i've since only watched two animes, vinland saga and promised neverland which are both amazing but out of al the shows i've ever watched I don't think they reach my top 5 just yet. My list would have to be: 1. Attack on titan (nothing needs to be said honestly) 2. breaking bad (havent watched better call saul yet but will definitely get to it soon) 3. peaky blinders (subjectively my favourite in terms of enjoyability and critically speaking has to be top 3 in terms of writing) 4. Vikings (One of the best protagonists i've seen in any form of media and tackles with very profound issues in a thought provoking way from the perspective of the viking world all while remaining historically accurate and insanely entertaining) 5. Daredevil (Being a marvel property people assume it would have the same lighthearted disney feel as the MCU but this show is one of the grittiest on this list and tackles with very raw and grounded topics while managing to do justice to both the comic book genre and also serve as a legal drama with the protagonist being a lawyer. If you like character driven stories this ones for you robin)

I feel like if you want that hit that you got with AoT again the one to watch is Hunter X Hunter , then I would say Code Geass and Monster

Rob

My Top 5 Anime / Cartoon (my fav anime/manga series is Berserk but the 97' anime falls a bit short, the other adaptations are offensively bad) 1) Samurai Champloo 2) Avatar The Last Air Bender 3) Hunter X Hunter 4) Cowboy Bebop 5) Vinland Saga Steins Gate / Arcane / Gintama / Code Geass / AoT / FMAB / Monster / Bleach (up to end of soul society arc) / OPM (season 1) / Cyberpunk Edgerunners / Paranoia Agent are all peak though - hope you get round to them someday AoT was my first anime back in 2016 & my fav show is BrBa

Rob

Not easy to pick a top 5 given that I've watched well over 150+ anime shows/movies but here goes: 1) Monster. A pretty old anime now but man is it one of the best. The story is honestly perfect imo, and this show is widely regarded to have the greatest antagonist created in anime. 2) Attack on Titan. Yeah, don't need to explain that one. 3) HunterxHunter. It's just one of those shows that makes you love all the main characters. It has its ups and downs with pacing, especially since it's like 150 episodes, but when you've finished it you can't help but feel it was a great journey. 4) Violet Evergarden. Short but super impactful show. I'm not one to show emotions that much (kind of like you) but this show made me cry twice. 5) Kaguya-sama Love is War: A very different show to all of the above, but I've never watched an anime that was this funny. Pure comedy at its finest.

Wait games do too? ;) Haha nah I agree with you man, just a shame they don't come out as often. But God of War Ragnarok is about to be so I'm stoked!

Damn, and here I hoped for you to say we could perhaps partner up someday... Lmao, I actually caught how I said that while editing and was keeping my fingers crossed nobody else would notice. Guess that didn't happen ;D

Robin

Great list! I look forward to hopefully getting around to all of the shows you mentioned that I haven't seen yet eventually. Glad to hear you liked my ranking too! :)

Robin

Thanks Erik! I can't wait either man :D

I think Breaking Bad will forever be my favorite live action show and Attack on Titan my all time favorite anime. I don't really have a list, because I also find it super hard to rank stuff. I've watched many shows that I really enjoyed like The Walking Dead (until Rick's departure), Game of Thrones (apart from season 8), Death Note (was my first real anime and blew me away). I do believe that games still tell fantastic stories as well, but you know that Robin ;)

I agree with your list almost completely, personally I would just switch Death Note and Vinland Saga even though both are amazing. For me, it's always been hard to rank shows in general. But if I had to make a personal top 5 shows it would go 1. Attack On Titan, the experience of watching AOT for the first time is something I'll never forget and the storytelling is just on a different level. 2. Breaking Bad, every episode in the last season just feels like a 10/10 movie and to watch Walter grow as a character is just awesome. 3. Code Geass, one of the most emotional shows I've seen, and the protagonist is my all time favorite character across anything. 4. Hunter x Hunter, a show that seems like a simple shonen at first, evolves into a study on humanity and all the facets of life, and it's just executed to perfection. This is where it starts to get really hard to rank so I'll just say some of my other favorite shows not in order. Avatar the Last Airbender, a show about creating your own path in life, you should totally react to this one. Monster, the best Psychological thriller of all time in my eyes. Better Call Saul, the greatest individual character study I've seen across any tv show with Jimmy McGill.

Greta insights Robin, I definitely agree with your list but maybe only swap JJK and Demon Slayer. I can't wait for you to see the conclusion of Attack on Titan.
