Steins;Gate 1x01 Reaction "Prologue to the Beginning and End"
Added 2022-11-28 12:51:07 +0000 UTCWow, that premiere couldn't be more confusing yet so intriguing at the same time! After rewatching a few scenes, I was thankfully able to make some sense of what I think was going on in hindsight, but in the moment it had me feeling hazy to say the least! Okarin does seem like a great protagonist, coming off as a total lunatic to the outside world while clearly being the only one who is truly able to tell about the fishy things that are going on. I can't wait to delve in further and find out whether the organization is real, who might be part of it, and what the events that happened in this first episode actually mean!

2022-11-29 14:42:22 +0000 UTCThe best watch order is the release order, especially for a first-time viewer: 1 - Steins;Gate (All Episodes) 2 - Optional: Steins;Gate OVA "Egoistic Poriomania" A.K.A Steins;Gate Episode 25 (Non-canon) 3 - Optional: Steins;Gate The Movie "Load Region of Déjà Vu" (Non-canon and contradicts certain canon things, creating unnecessary plotholes. Nonetheless, it is a fun movie to watch, just don't pay too much attention to its details) 3 - Steins;Gate Episode 23b "Open the Missing Link - Divide By Zero" 4 - Steins;Gate 0 (All Episodes) 5 - Optional: Steins;Gate 0 OVA "Valentine's of Crystal Polymorphism - Bittersweet Intermedio" (Non-canon) The Optional ones can of course be postponed till after you finish the show, and you feel you need more Steins;Gate, or even skipped entirely. There is also "Steins;Gate: The Sagacious Wisdom of Cognitive Computing", its four shorts of 3 min each that you can check out if you want.
