Yeah and instead of Thor standing over them both it was Kratos standing over Atreus and Odin. And I'm pretty sure Odins soul moves in the same pattern that appears on the mural too. They've finally made Kratos a solid fleshed out and complex character who no longer cares/fights for revenge. There are endless possibilities of where they can take him next. Same goes for Atreus/Loki. They could easily do separate games for each of them. During the Angrboda section, there's so much dialogue that hunts at Atreus' next journey with the Giants, for example there being more hidden outside the Nine Realms.. Also I still firmly believe we'll get the answers to the questions that haven't been answered, like who blew the horn... There's no way they don't answer it right? Not with all the teasing. Where Kratos can go next.. who knows. During the Alfheim section, when you're at the Light, and the Lake of Souls, I was certain that that would be a bigger part of the game... Especially with how Kratos was acting towards the Light... Like he wanted to go back in and see Faye... Maybe that's set up for future too? Who knows. But overall I loved this game despite some shortcomings. And I'm certainly still interested in the characters/lore and hope SMS continue with this quality

I also somehow hadn't realized it till after I edited these parts but the way Atreus holds Odin as he takes his soul is literally how the prophecy had foretold it except we thought it would be Kratos he was holding

2022-12-09 14:09:48 +0000 UTCKratos' reaction to seeing his shrine actually got me quite emotional. It reminded me when Odin was asking him has anyone ever loved/worshipped you. Looks like he gets it at the end.
