Added 2022-12-09 13:54:58 +0000 UTCAt last, an episode that was relatively easy to grasp! ;D The IBN computer is finally in Okarin's possession, but it took a hilarious loss against Feyris to get there. Meanwhile, I might still be reading into some scenes a little bit too much and automatically not trusting certain characters, but I fear this show is slowly turning me into a mad scientist just like Okarin.

Also talked a bit about the IBM and John Titor references you guys told me about in the comments. But yeah I was enjoying the show so much I got way ahead of schedule. I'm 10 episodes in right now already haha so I was only able to bring these things up by like episode 9 😂 I'm sure I missed other things in the coming episodes though so keep me updated! :)

It is pretty easy to miss or to confuse it, so I don't blame you at all xD It was stated last episode, during the discussion Okabe had with Titor on the forum. Episode 3, around minute 17:50 : When John Titor was talking about needing the IBN 5100, Okabe commented, "The John Titor who appeared in 2000 said the same thing," and Titor replied, "The "me" who appeared ten years ago?" So from this, we can gather that 2000 was ten years ago, hence it's 2010 now. Also, some new trivia about this episode: 1. The IBN 5100's special functionality mentioned here, about being able to read IBN's proprietary programming languages, applies to the real IBM 5100: it can run BASIC and APL programming languages (what the show refers to). 2. The real Titor mentioned that he needed the IBM 5100 during his mission too.
