While Ketil himself appears surprisingly moral and Einar can actually consider himself pretty lucky for where he ended up, it does seem there will be plenty of other people working on the farm that will serve as obstacles for him and Thorfinn.

Thorfin's entire drive and motivation were to kill Askeladd in season one, so once he died, and not at his own hands, Thorfin lost all of his drive to live. Here in season two, Thorfin is just going with the flow of things and following orders because, in his mind, he has no other reason to keep going. He has no drive or motivation, so he just does as he's told. I can't wait to see you react to the rest of the season! It's going to be so good.
