The existence of this message activates Sern's program, which generates a change of timeline to one in which they manage to build a time machine and there is a dystopia, this in turn makes Suzuha travel to the past but because of a problem of coordinates the time machine appears in the middle of the building, so the conference is cancelled and Makise was never in the place where she would have died.
