The theme of this episode really seemed to be about decision-making. The introduction of Mel's mother surely caught me off guard, and even if I can't say I'm a fan, I fear she'll have a much larger role to play here.

Yeah I think I was even still anticipating something happened to him in episode 9, but I realized after that that's just what it was! :)
