Mushoku Tensei 1x06 Reaction "A Day Off in Roa"

Especially seeing how much more responsible of a human being Rudeus had become last episode, that one particular scene in this episode sure felt like a major step back in his progress... That being said, we also got some information regarding Laplace and Perugius, teasing a much larger scale for the story in some time and I already can't wait to see it further unfold!

in the time period it wasnt seen as that serious, it is completely wrong but society didnt see it that way as much. Also he is a child so it wouldve been written off. I mean look at what Paul has done in the past, and Zeniths willingness to put up with Pauls behavior.

This is the episode where I had to step back and ask if I really wanted to watch this lol

If Rudeus pulled that shit in our real world, he would have gotten multiple sexual harassment charges lol. I'm kinda flabbergasted that there are literally no consequences to his actions, apart from getting punched by Eris haha

Yeah it's basically him relapsing back into his old self. I get what you're saying about making mistakes and that it's human, but the only part where I feel it's lacking is that there are seemingly no repercussions to his behavior. He gets to make these mistakes without any consequences, whereas you couldn't get away with certain things in the real world without legal punishment of course. Mistakes are fine, but some actions are also deemed inexcusable without a justified punishment.

If I'm not mistaken due to Rudeus' clothing it is easy for the rest to notice that he is a servant of the city lord, so I too believe that the vendor offered him the aphrodisiac for someone in the family. Rudues bad actions and behaviors were exactly what got me in this story, don't get me wrong, they are actions lacking morals and reprehensible but being able to see a non direct development or progress feels more realistic; moving forward, stumbling, getting up or directly regressing makes it more human and interesting (usually you get perfect and unrealistic developments where everything goes upwards). Another aspect of character development is that I believe that it is not something singular or general but that it is given by aspects, I mean I can mature in some aspect of my life but remain immature in others, it is something I consider part of being human and that also manages to represent well this series. Great reaction and I hope you continue to enjoy this series despite the difficulties haha.
