Glad you're gonna watch the movie, it's a lot of fun. This game is actually based on the real game called "Gal★Gun". I'm a bit surprised that No Game No Life didn't get sued with how many references it uses. I do really love how over the top basically everything is in this show, and this intro is no different. The janky movements in the intro really gives it a video game feel. (14:15): There is falling damage, it just doesn't really effect them. Jibril is a Flugel, who are literally immortal (you basically have to be if you want to be able to literally kill gods), so they're immune to all physical damage. If you recall, during the word chain game, when Sora and Shiro exploded the Hydrogen Bomb and Jibril shielded them. She didn't shield herself, she was just completely unaffected by a literal nuke going off next to her. I don't really know about Izuna though. She's probably just that physically strong, that she's ok to land at terminal velocity. But idk for sure. (18:20): Jibril is very scary. I think they really did a good job of showing just how intimidating a Flugel can be (to a lower ranked Ixseed).
