I hope you are strating to see the hype around Levi...he has one of the strongest character arcs in the show...by the way there is so much more to his backstory in the 3rd season I think

2021-12-06 21:45:25 +0000 UTCAlso a first time watching the OVA for me and also wondered what would happen with Levi's friends :O I agree, this OVA gives a very welcome backstory and more info into his personality. The biggest thing is the amount of loss Levi is through as present, his friend from the underground city, his squad from season 1 and who know who else.

2021-12-01 22:22:44 +0000 UTCin case you were wondering, the OVA is more gory than the series because i believe OVAs dont air on tv at all. so they aren't subject to the censorship that japanese tv has whereas the main series does. this OVA was kind of on the same level of gore that's in the manga from what i've seen of it

2021-12-01 19:23:02 +0000 UTCI love the little bits of his character that we got. The whole obsession with cleanliness definitely stems from his background living in the underground city. He's also less in control of his emotions like how he snapped when he tore up the titan to pieces and then later when confronting erwin. I think a lot of people see levi's character as the cool one who doesnt care about anyone but he obviously cares about other people and he had a soft spot for isabel , he wanted his friends to stay back while he does the mission alone bcs he thought itd be safer for them. His decision had lost him everything and while its hellish to fight titans levi seems to have faith that erwin will lead them to victory and that keeps him going you know? Anyhow great video robin and looking forward for your next one
