1. I recommend watching along with the full length reaction for the best experience to this episode. A LOT happened in it. I seemingly have to stick to a strict 10min cut for these OVA's to avoid copyright takedowns, so I had to cut out a couple scenes I would have liked to keep in.
2. This episode was absolutely fantastic but boy was it confusing on my first watch while also reacting. As usual, I regretted my somewhat dumbfounded review instantly upon a rewatch. I therefore decided to touch on this OVA even a little more in my 3x14 intro. That episode is getting posted now as well, so I'll go into it all there. So please spare me from comments that I missed some stuff until you watch that one haha. Thanks guys.

This OVA was just a dream Mikasa had during that scene where Eren's titan just appeared. She thought of alternate events where: The killers where eaten by wolves, her parents didnt die, she never lived with Eren and his family. But she still developed a crush for Eren, doesnt want him to join the Survey Corps (thanks to the scene where the sodiers returned), Eren scarified himself to save Armin.

2022-02-21 04:59:11 +0000 UTCIn my opinion the mirror man was a representation of Mikasa speaking to herself. Like she created this dream to keep Eren alive, because she couldn't accept his death in ep 5. So she simply wants to be with him regardless of where he ends up.
