I loved that Saul/Gene didn't even realise where he slipped up on the phone call that twigged Marion onto him, I think he said like "you can just pay a cash bail in Omaha, it's not like in Albuquerque at all", and she was probably thinking how does he instantly know and have an answer for how the legal system is in another state. Plus with what she saw the night before. I agree with you on the ending.. I hope there is some small redemption or moment for him in the end. Although I can't see him getting away with it, I do ultimately see him ending up in jail I think, maybe with Kim testifying, she has already given them her statement which could be used against him. Maybe his last moment is one of acceptance.. finally taking responsibility for his actions. He's always had someone else to pin the blame on for why he does what he does, whether it be Chuck, the Cartel, you could even argue that he blames Walt for everything that happened in the events of Breaking Bad and why he had to change his identity.. he never accepted he might be to blame. This show is too damn good, I truly hope that this team of theirs stick together to create something new no matter how long we have to wait for it. But it's not over yet...

If only she warned him anout what he was getting into. 😭 Also, idk if you noticed, but the only color we see in Gene’s timeline is Sauls comercial reflected in his glasses. It was pure art.
