Vinland Saga 1x03 Reaction "Troll"
Added 2022-09-06 13:01:15 +0000 UTCHey everyone, my sincerest apologies about losing the recording for this reaction. You can't imagine how frustrated I was myself when finding out about it, especially because I had to do my first ever "post-commentary" for Death Note not too long ago as well. I did figure out it was a different issue this time however. My recording software decided to overwrite my camera recording file with the show recording file, where it would normally ALWAYS create two seperate files. It never ever used to do this before and I've been making videos on this channel for a year now... Really weird. I have however taken the necessary steps to prevent this from ever happening again, even though there's of course no guaranteeing I'll be able to prevent unexpected technical difficulties in the future.
That being said, episode 4 is already done and everything thankfully recorded just fine! It's definitely the most important episode yet so I'm happy it at least happened here instead of there. I hope you'll be able to enjoy the video nonetheless!

Thanks Vera! Yeah I think you're right, he's just accepting his job but that doesn't mean he's his friend now. I just wonder what that guy was even doing there hiding in the first place, was it supposed to be protection perhaps? We'll probably never know haha

2022-09-07 11:47:32 +0000 UTCThe way I interpreted the scene where the throw of the spear killed Floki's soldier, I see it as a demonstration of power and dominance on Askeladd's part. He doesn't work with Floki, he's just getting paid to kill Thors. If I'm correct, at that time vikings used to follow the most strongest person, so maybe that throw symbolized Askeladd's strenght and leadership. It's just my opinion, anyway don't worry about the software mistake! Great reaction as always (:

2022-09-06 13:58:21 +0000 UTCIt sucks but shit happens. Definitely more of a build-up, but I agree there is a sense of dread for the upcoming episode. I also like the comparison between Jomsviking Thors, and present Thors and we can clearly see Helga and his children is a cause for the discrepancy.
