I totally interpreted that last scene as a time jump, already teasing us where Thorfinn would end up. Instead, I guess Leif was really just looking at a Thorfinn-lookalike kid. Me and anime character models, I'll never learn. Still, it's great to see a glimpse of Leif and I hope we see him back soon!

I think the scene in the end with Leaf Erikson wasn't a time jump, and more like it's happening at the same time. He seems to be searching for people that look like Thorfinn and that's why he was looking at the teenage blonde slave, then being disappointed after seeing his face.
