2024-09-23 23:53:44 +0000 UTCSo yeah... spot on. Death ripper sealing jutsu is a sealing jutsu. The same one that sealed Nine Tails into Naruto(Orochimaru sais it too). That why it was dishonorable for 1st and 2nd Hokage, because their souls would now be sealed/trapped instead of resting. Also as Sarurobi sais, the user of the jutsu also dies/is sealed by the jutsu hence not needing to fodge yhe sword and yes, that is how 4th died when sealing Nine Tails into Naruto. Being killed/sealed by this jutsu is also relevant for a few other things but that might spoil some stuff in Shippuden so we'll wait for that explanantion untill then.
