Oh but regarding Ryuzu's clones, there aren't so many of them, and they're still living being so sacrificing them as you described seems a bit cruel.

Here now you know it's Roswaal that attracted the Great Rabbit, that he knows about the loops and that he's following the same book as Beatrice (showing the future then, in principle, since Beatrice couldn't anymore at some point). Notice how Elsa survived being shattered like that. It's clearer now how she survived Reinhard's attack (the redhair overpowered knight in the beginning of S1).
