Puck left to break the seal on Emilia's memory, as he said. Emilia said her "mother" and Puck were liars because they left her, and she said Subaru was a liar because just before he said he'd spend the night holding her hand, until morning. He didn't, but he had shit to do to be honest, a lot to prepare. The Ryuzu Garfiel is close to (who he calls "old hag") is Shima. That's the Ryuzu that got banished, she broke a rule to help Garfiel when he failed the trial in the past.
