I'm still curious exactly how the other homunculi like Lust and Gluttony were created then assuming that they didn't have an original "human" container (unless they do too?) but I guess I'll still eventually find out!

You might already know this but the reason why Mustang knew it was code was bc Hawkeye tapped her cup on the table twice before speaking, and then he responded by tapping the pen twice. Some clarifying details on the Homunculi now that you've reached this ep are: The homunculi are created out of Father extracting his own sins (also known as the seven deadly sins of humans) and making containers. If you remember, he extracted Greed from himself and then injected Ling with it (a rare human container along with Bradley). As you keep watching, you might note that the homunculi themselves are actually characterizations of Father since these sins were all a part of him before. A lot of this is subtext so I thought it might be helpful to just reorganize these details for your watching experience although this will gradually become more obvious. Loving your reactions!
