Shadow movement is such a dope looking skill as well. I believe Souei says he can nearly instantly travel to the shadows of those he already knows, but if it is someone he does not know, he needs to locate the shadow first. Super awesome skill I am pretty sure Rimuru said 7 days because they needed time to prepare for battle, and it takes a few day to travel to the Lizardman territory from their area of the forest. We see that all those who went with Rimuru had new weapons, armor and clothing so I assume they just were not done being made until they left.

2024-11-15 04:11:24 +0000 UTCShadow Motion is a basic travel technique. People who can use it: Soei, Hakurou, Rimuru, the Direwolves, Gobta, and Gobta's close friends. There is a degree of connection between Rimuru and those he named that allows the latter to receive Skills from Rimuru, but to some extent they have to be compatible and all Skills require practice as well. Rimuru also gains the Skills of those he named and some straight power too...... Dryads aren't druids. As I explained last episode, Dryads are Greek tree spirits. They are female. Druids are religious leaders in pre-Christian Celtic culture, like shamans or priests, usually associated with nature worship. They really existed. In fantasy they have been often given magic powers...... I have no idea why Rimuru needed 7 days. Lizardmen normally are stronger than orcs, so if there were no Orc Lord (Gabiru obviously doesn't know what that really means), he had a good strategy. He's not bad as a leader or as a strategist, but he's missing a crucial ingredient: information.
