Yeah as a reactor it is better to not read manga, as till now it is almost 1:1. :) I hope you will enjoy slayers and I hope you can find it somewhere. I'm glad I bought it years ago. :D

Frieren of course, then we saw Himmel (Sky), Eisen (Iron), Heiter (cheerful), Fern (far). You said you speak a bit of german. But it isn't clear to me how much exactly, since you didn't point these out. Or maybe simply didn't see a need for it?

About the title "Frieren", it's a German adjective, so I would pronounce it with that knowledge, like you did at 0:27. But 0:22 is also correct just has an English accent, that works. About the translation of the word, I'm also interested in seeing whether that has any meaning in the story itself. You already said it means "freezing". I personally would translate it as "feeling cold", because it specifically means when a person is feeling cold, not the general "to freeze" something. Which would be "einfrieren" or "gefrieren". Yeah german is funny.

2024-04-02 11:57:14 +0000 UTCFun facts: - Frieren's VA is the same as Anya. Himmel's VA is the same as Genya from DS and Garfiel from Re:Zero, complete opposites haha. And Heiter's VA is the same as Geese from MT, Leif from Vinland and Leskinen from SG0, I never would have guessed lol. Great reaction.
