You didn't understand the point of envy in this episode at all, which was very odd to see. He didn't go out hating humans, it wasn't about him being humiliated as such. It was about him realizing that in some form he actually wanted to be human too. He was jealous of what humans had, and what he never could have. And it was incredibly sad, and was supposed to make you feel for him too. So you saying you can't really feel bad for him is a bit sad
