Fair point. I feel like the second episode already confirmed for me that she must have been in love with him nonetheless though. But I guess we'll see the show get into that more still!

2024-04-24 16:26:43 +0000 UTCI find the representation of demons in this show fascinating, probably already done in other anime or other media, but at least for me it's the first time I've seen something like this. Beings that use human language, that speak, but don't feel or understand what they say and still manage to deceive, as I said before, fascinating. Btw at least until this episode there is no clue that Frieren had romantic feelings for Himmel, on the contrary in this episode she says that elves lack romantic feelings and sexual instincts, so we have more against than for. The theory is still valid though, let's see if in the next episodes there is a hint of it, rewatching the series I'm noticing a lot of things I didn't get the first time so I'm also understanding things along with you haha. Great reaction.
