I recommend checking the cooking show too, it's short and light story with FSN references. Good show If you want to chill and turn your brain off

But you wouldn't notice them because they're not made to look like a big deal in the UBW and HF anime adaptations that came later. Only by experiencing Fate/Stay Night before Zero, you'll get that discovery feeling for those reveals. But as Gigguk says in the other video, it really doesn't matter where you start, if it gets you interested in the Fate universe. Also he didn't say "two thousand sixteen adaptation", he said "two thousand six, Deen adaptation". :) Deen is the studio that made the original adaptation, and the UBW movie adaptation. Where the anime is crap, the movie is actually fairly good. Although pacing is way too crammed. And the full UBW anime series by Ufotable is anyway superior.

It also kinda sets the expectation (that you had throughout UBW I think) that Sakura would be a major player in the "sequel" UBW. Also the fact that the Grail is corrupted, and everything about Kiritsugu. Also Saber's identity is only revealed halfway through the Fate route. Personally, I love the cooking show "Today's Menu for the Emiya family". It's some nice slice of life with the Fate/stay night characters.
