that ep frustrated me bcs imo gaara could've definitely won the fight had he not been concerned about the village, he could've even blown deidara away with the one tail's power as a last resort but instead he refused to give up his control. still, overall i suppose i understand the need to highlight his growth by the decisions he made even if it meant his loss
