You got to remember this is a show based on a DnD campaign which turn order makes a big deal. So many actions can be taken at once and the enemy has their turn they can take which has many options. In the Live game, Grog did get Charmed by Anders but Percy rolled 2 big criticals on him which blew his mouth apart which they kept the same. Every single name on The List (Percy's gun) was scratched off by Percy before they fought the Briarwoods in like a poetic way of his vengeance. Another thing to note, Keyleth can heal wounds since she is a druid they have natural healing spells which aren't as focused or powerful as Cleric like Pike's but they can be decent in a tight spot like Rivify which is a level 3 spell to raise the dead within a minute of death. Scanland as a Bard also has access to some very minor and semi-decent healing spells as well.
