There are two kinds of prefabs. Floaters and orbits. Floaters will float above a point. Orbits will orbit around a point.
There's also an option to attach physbones to the prefabs for more coziness! Tutorial video included on that.
The prefabs range from various thing such as Somna stars sigils, constellations to planets, planet systems, clouds, stars, galaxies and H̵̖̏A̶͇͘R̸͈̓Ȍ̵̖L̷̺̍D̴̪̎
You can make your own as well! We include a blend file with custom scripts and a tutorial video explaining how to use them and how to set up the shader. Go crazy!
These aren't particle systems! They're just meshes with a shader. So VRChat will see one of these as a Mesh Renderer and a material slot.
The shader moves the individual pieces of the mesh around.
Even then, all the prefabs are in a low-poly style to minimize triangles. On top of that the shader was designed to be fast, with toggles for things you want or don't want to use. Physbones are optional!
Except for Harold. He needs the extra tris.
This shader and prefabs should work on ANY VRChat furry or anime avatar! So it should be really easy to set up a Somna ready avatar in minutes. In my examples I'm using the Kobodal, Astrawolf and a Novabeast Azalea (by Foxipaws) kitbash.

Requires a Unity 2022 project.
Blend file is included in the unitypackage in the FBX folder.
Make sure to not overwrite any materials or textures you have changed when importing.
Fixed a rare issue with the license verification that could lead to an exception being thrown on some machines.
Show custom properties in a custom properties tab. They must not have the HideInInspector attribute to show up.
