Burning Town

It began when her brother suddenly told her to go to the well, but, not the town's well, another one that was more in the fields, because they found some dead animal in the well so the water wouldn't be good for a while. Relluctnat and mildly afraid of the dark, she went anyway.
But she shouldn have feared the night, rather the flames that were waiting for her return.
(as a side note, I usually don't include watermark on the picture for patron, but since here it was outside of it, and the picture looked stangely unbalanced with only black, I let it visible this time, because I don't think it's harming the picture. )
