Zhuque

Zhuque, or Zhu Que, is the vermillion bird of the south in the chinese zodiac. Although Zhuque and the phoenix (fenghuang) are different thing, Phenice is often called "The Vermilion Bird" thanks to her bird-shaped mount, Harpy, so she is kinda tied to both in the end!
I tried to make something different, working with more simple shapes, and I even scrapped the lineart in the end. Turns out for me, trying to keep only the essential elements is a lot of work! But I hope you will like this little experiment!
