Added 2019-06-07 01:06:48 +0000 UTChere i am to share some doodling i managed to squeeze out over the past couple days. in another go at mimicking traditional media digitally, i decided i wanted to find ways to imitate the look of alcohol based blending markers in clip studio (in honor of my lifelong fascination with copic markers which i've always been to broke to get my hands on aside from a few singles). i've been following some marker artists for a while and felt really inspired to try my hand the only way i can afford to!
i found a neat free brush asset pack, made a couple of modifications, and even decided i'd limit myself to colors available in copic ink when experimenting with this style. i have a swatch of all 358 copic sketch colors rigged up in clip studio that i'll stick to when visiting this style again. it's really fun figuring out the closest colors to what i need based on existing swatches!

i'm pretty pumped about these new brushes! feels nice to get my mind back in the art game to some degree so i can get myself back on track ð
