the textures are out of the WIP stage, so i'll add these to my completed posts despite not being done with the project just yet
so yeah! i finished up texturing a model i've been working on in blender for the past few days (...i actually had to repaint the map from scratch today when i accidentally closed without saving the image texture). i stuck to a purely toony flat coloring style similar to my lineless one in my 2D art and i think it translates over fine to 3D!
i added an armature as you can see from the one pose, but i haven't made any adjustments to the weights yet so i can't pose the head very precisely/close the mouth/etc just yet. but the automatic weights were good enough to squeeze out that very simple pose
boy i really need to take this over to 2.8 and render it with my toon mat pack but this generic plastic-y looking material will do until i'm fully done working on the posing. here's more images of what i have so far til then!
