peepo 2019/2020?
Added 2019-10-22 03:16:42 +0000 UTCjust like last year, i'm doing my ref-of-the-year slightly late on. this year's ref is pretty similar in layout last year's, but there are notably more small tweaks to peepo's design compared to the previous (more than there were between 2017 and 2018 anyway)
the saturation is EVER SO SLIGHTLY reduced, she got subtle mits, ditched the green eye color, and i changed the look of the transition between the colors in the body gradient (although, it is actually up for artist who is coloring peepo at the time to decide how to transition the colors to one another. smooth gradients also work but i'm just not one to use those myself as a rule). her horns have a different curvature and i kind of made her tail shorter too, but tail length is one of those things that varies from piece to piece. i like it both ways!
overall i'm happier with this year's ref than last. i enjoyed working on last year's ref but it's one of those pieces you hate the minute after you post it... this one is satisfying enough :>
