Enabling Charge Up-Front
Added 2018-08-01 21:01:00 +0000 UTCPatreon finally made Charge Up-Front available, so consider this a heads-up that Im going to be changing over in a couple hours.
for people who are already pledged: nothing changes, youll still pay on the first of the month as always. for people who want to pledge: keep in mind that youll be charged at your chosen tier immediately for the month instead of getting everything for free until next month rolls around. Also, if you ever decide to increase your pledge youll immediately be charged the difference.
this means that A: people cant pledge, save any currently-private content and then unpledge with no penalty, and B: people who subscribe to the Request tier dont have to wait until theyre charged at the start of the month to make their requests, and I can make them immediately without worrying about people dipping out. Its a win-win!
