Q: During the illegal fighting ring episode in chapter 683, there's a part where Yuder wonders what happened between Kishiar and Nathan when Nathan gives Kishiar a prepared cloak without minding Kishiar's naked state. I'm also very curious! I must confirm why Kishiar was exposing his skin so freely without his husband's permission. Haha.
A: In his youth, Kishiar was even more active than now, didn't hold back his curiosity (not "couldn't"), and would calmly do outrageous things to get back at anyone who provoked him. Especially after becoming Duke of Peletta and going to Peletta, the provocations Kishiar received from people of all ranks were enough to fill a book, so naturally his list of crazy deeds grew just as much. There were truly many incidents, too numerous to list here. The incident of walking on his hands around Peletta Castle that was mentioned in a recent conversation between Hellem and Kishiar is related to these events.
As a result, Nathan Zuckerman, who shared in all those crazy antics, became an adjutant who could truly be prepared for anything.
Q: It seems like it would be very interesting if Yuder and Kishiar's statuses were reversed. Will we have a chance to see something like that? Seeing how skillfully Kishiar imitates a servant, it seems he would also be good at acting as Yuder's subordinate. Haha.
A: I'll refrain from commenting... but Kishiar likes this question.
Q: Does Yuder cut his own bangs? I really want to see Yuder with long hair too! ㅠㅠ❤️
A: Yes. He cuts them himself. In his previous life, there were probably times when his hair was disheveled when he didn't have time to groom it.
Yuder with long hair.... I'll keep that well engraved in my mind for now.
Q: If Kishiar and Yuder were to think of animals that resemble each other, what animals would they be? I really can't predict for Kishiar...
A: In the main story, there are times when Yuder feels that Kishiar is like a crouching predator when he acts weak and pretty and snuggles up. If we were to make that a bit more concrete, I think it might be an animal like a lion.
In Kishiar's case, for similar but different reasons, there were times when he thought Yuder was like a predator. When he sees Yuder overwhelmingly subduing and beating enemies, he probably thinks of an animal like a black panther.
Q: I'm curious about the future appearance descriptions of the current minor friends, especially Katchian!
A: Hinn and Finn (as Yuder has mentioned before) will grow much taller in a few years. Jimmy is already tall for his age, but he'll grow even more, likely surpassing most Cavalry members by his mid to late teens. Revlin is already quietly known for his pretty looks among nobles, and when he becomes an adult, he'll likely become an even more delicate beauty.
As for Katchian, who you asked about, his face is already quite youthful, and that aspect won't change much even after he becomes an adult. His beautiful but somehow precarious and immature appearance, which gives an impression of being prim and childish, will become one of his complexes.
Q: If there was an arm wrestling contest in the Cavalry based purely on strength, who would be the winner?
A: If it's just among the first-generation members, I think Kurga would have won.
Q: What if Yuder had been born into nobility instead of being a commoner? Just imagining it makes my heart flutter..🥹
A: I think aspects like his innate composure and coolness would have been greatly amplified. It might have been a bit like... the Northern Duke in memes (come to think of it, he's a bit like that now too).
Q: I'm curious about what flavors of tanghulu and boba ice cream Yuder would like best.
A: He probably doesn't particularly prefer any specific flavor and just eats whatever he's given.
Q: Is there a dance genre that became the prototype or reference for the "Avitan" dance that Kishiar, Yuder, and the Cavalry members danced at the imperial palace party? Is it closer to a tango feel than a waltz, as some comments suggested? If you had a specific dance song in mind, could you let us know? Haha.
A: I didn't reflect just one genre's feel, but it's generally similar to what you mentioned.
For the image of dance music that the characters in the story perceive, I mainly referenced minuet and waltz for Rancha, and tango and jazz for Avitan.
Q: Does Gakane know about Kishiar and Yuder kissing in the shadows in chapter 843? Also, I'm curious if Gakane has ever sensed Kishiar's pheromone scent on Yuder!
A: I'll refrain from commenting on the first part. For the latter part, there was some related content in the recent Pruelle awakening episode, but to briefly say, from a certain point, changes began to occur in Kishiar and Yuder's scents, making it difficult for not only Gakane but also other second gender awakeners to discern anything just from their scents. I think there might be more explanations about this later.
Q: Yuder seems to unconsciously care about things like perfume and undressing well, and he subtly gets jealous. Will we ever see Yuder being jealous in a state of clear self-awareness? And I'm curious about Kishiar's reaction at that time.
A: For now, I'll refrain from commenting.
Q: Kishiar seems too busy to train separately except for sword training at dawn, but his ability to delicately control his awakener power that develops day by day - does Kishiar train separately for this or is it just innate? Knowing Kishiar, he would surely practice in his spare time, but I'm curious about when and how he mainly trains if he does!
A: It's both separate training and innate talent. As mentioned in the story, Kishiar practices extracting and adjusting each power separately whenever he has time to maintain the balance of his vessel. In a similar or applied way, even while busy working, he constantly simulates and tests his awakener power in one corner of his mind based on inspiration gained from past events. To develop awakener abilities, deeply exploring, researching, and trying new things with one's power can sometimes be more important than repetitive training, and Kishiar is a genius in this aspect. His ability also perfectly matches this type of training.
To use an analogy... while others are doing repetitive grinding to fill their skill training points and level up, Kishiar is at a stage where he doesn't need that and is creating skill upgrade versions and advanced courses on his own.
Q: I'm curious about the abilities of the members who were initially included in the first Red Stone recovery operation before the regression, and the reasons why Kishiar selected those members! And is Yuder the biggest variable factor for the change in members after the regression? Or is it the presence or absence of Kanna? I'm also curious why all five members changed.
A: Kishiar had his own reasons, but I'll refrain from commenting on that now. As you mentioned, the factor that became the biggest variable in the decision is indeed Yuder.
Q: You said that the empire in the Turning world has distinct four seasons, so I'd like to know Kishiar and Yuder's favorite seasons and brief reasons!
A: Kishiar likes autumn. It's the season when crops are harvested, so there are the fewest hungry people.
Yuder liked spring in his childhood. It's the time when the mountains are full of vitality. Now he doesn't particularly have likes or dislikes for seasons.
Q: What are Kishiar and Yuder's favorite aspects/actions of each other? (Not external factors, but behaviors)
A: Kishiar: When Yuder fights fearlessly, when he's eating something, when he's sleeping
Yuder: When Kishiar manipulates others with his tongue, when he appears wearing clothes different from usual, when he's intensely focused on paperwork moving his pen quickly
Q: You said Kishiar likes skin-to-skin contact the most, and Yuder likes kissing the most, but what's their favorite skinship that the other person does to them?
A: Kishiar: When Yuder straddles him and looks down with burning eyes. He feels thrilled every time.
Yuder: Strong hugs
Q: What are the author's thoughts on Kishiar and Yuder as moe-fied animals, and what animals do Kishiar and Yuder think each other resemble?
A: I think I answered this before, saying Kishiar was like a dragon and Yuder like a Doberman... probably...
For the animals they think each other resemble, I'll skip this as there's a similar question above.
Q: When do they find each other cute? Of course, Kishiar seems to find Yuder cute all the time, but what moments or actions does he find the cutest? I'm also curious if Yuder has ever found Kishiar cute!
A: You know Kishiar very well... But if I had to pick the moments they find cutest:
Kishiar: The moment when Yuder honestly reveals that he likes Kishiar with his usual cold face
Yuder: He might have found Kishiar cute in small ways, but he probably hasn't clearly recognized it as cuteness himself.
Q: In his previous life, Yuder didn't understand Kishiar's intentions when they talked about the special unit. Has he noticed now..?
A: After chapter 927... it's almost as if he has.
Q: I'm currently binge-reading Turning, and in chapter 51, I saw Kishiar's line "Shouldn't you give a separate reward to me who was responsible for the beginning and end of everything?" I'm curious if this dialogue was meant to signify the meaning of Yudrain! Haha.
A: Oh... no........was that word there........?
Q: Will we find out later how the world became after Yuder died?
A: I'll refrain from commenting.
Q: Both Keilusa and Kishiar are romantics with intense, crazy love for the person their brother loves. Even the first emperor's empress left a will asking to be buried with their coffins facing each other forever. Does the imperial family of the Orr Empire originally have the blood of romantics flowing through them?
A: Not all of them, but there is a slight genetic tendency. In the case of the brothers Kishiar and Keilusa, they were quite influenced by their father and mother.
Q: Kishiar has been persistently flirting with Yuder all this time without giving up, and his brother Keilusa also fell in love at first sight. Did Keilusa directly confess to Faria first?
A: Yes. It was briefly mentioned in the main story, but there's a past where Keilusa, wanting to change Faria's mind as she was about to give up and leave the crown princess selection, continued to suffer and finally made a desperate confession (proposal) on his knees just before she was about to leave. The part of Faria's dialogue in Keilusa's awakening episode about not letting him see the dawn alone~ (omitted) was probably heard at that time.
Q: If Kishiar and Yuder ever have a state wedding in Turning, will Kishiar do all the preparations for this one and only state wedding with Yuder? Then will it be Yuder being dragged around by Kishiar? Haha.
A: While Kishiar would handle most of the proceedings as you said, given Yuder's personality, he probably wouldn't be dragged around.
That's all, thank you for your questions! )
I really enjoyed answering the questions.
I hope those who read this enjoyed it a little as well.
+ addendum
While answering about Keilusa's proposal during his crown prince days above, I thought I'd briefly talk about the previous generation's imperial family members.
(This is mostly unrelated to the main story and closer to a summary of briefly mentioned parts, so not reading it won't greatly affect your understanding of Turning's content.)
Although it wasn't described in detail as it's not greatly related to the main story,
The character referred to as 'Empress Dowager (previous Empress Dowager)' in the story, Inella La Orr, is a figure who would be Kishiar and Keilusa's grandmother,
And is a different person from Kishiar and Keilusa's mother who is referred to as the 'previous Empress' in the story.
Kishiar and Keilusa's mother, the previous Empress, died while in the position of Empress without receiving the title of Empress Dowager,
So she is not called Empress Dowager.
(There was a setting in the Orr Imperial Family where not just anyone who is the emperor's mother figure becomes an 'Empress Dowager',
But I'll stop here for now as there might be a day to describe it someday.)
Anyway, this previous Empress Dowager Inella was the second empress of the previous previous emperor, and was not blood-related to the previous emperor (Kishiar and Keilusa's father) who was the child of the first empress.
Additionally, (I think I briefly mentioned this somewhere before) she was also a person from House Diarca.
Because of this, Empress Dowager Inella had fierce political conflicts with the previous emperor, during which many tragedies occurred.
The information about Kishiar/Keilusa's investiture as crown princes that was briefly written in the information Enon brought in the early part of the story is also related to these events.
I think there might be a day to write more about this later.
Comments
Yay! This was the Q&A mentioning Kishiar is a lion and Yuder as a panther. 🤣 I love the little bit of info at the end regarding the grandmother and mom. Sad to hear that the brother’s mom passed before gaining the Dowager title.
