The person disappeared at an incredible speed, and when they reappeared, it was from an unpredictable direction as if teleporting. Although they were evading the monster's pursuit in this way, the human looked so small in front of the monster exuding a fierce aura. Yoon Seok-ho looked at the monster for a moment and asked.
"Wasn't that monster a boss monster?"
"That's right. It's the Kalap Titan, the boss monster of the Parm Great Plains."
"Then why is this...?"
"Keep watching. Ah. It's starting now."
The person who had been fleeing for a while and stopped momentarily soon moved to a place much farther than the monster in one go. The monster, which had been looking around and found its prey, soon began to run towards that place with a terrible roar. However, the man who had gained time in the meantime quickly moved his arms and hands to draw a glowing circle while chanting a spell, and immediately, as if responding to the spell, an enormous tornado was created in front of him.
"Impressive. To use the 5th circle so quickly and accurately... And the magic image is perfect too."
Yoon Seok-ho exclaimed in admiration as he watched. The light reflected from the screen sparkled in his eyes.
"That man must be the first Tower Master not only in the Korean server but in the whole world."
Mugeon answered, unable to take his eyes off the hologram, his expression completely different from his usual grumbling look. Yoon Seok-ho's mouth curved up into a smile. While they were talking, the man in the hologram began to make a motion as if pressing down on the air with both arms while shouting something.
"What's that?"
Yoon Seok-ho muttered, narrowing his eyes as he noticed it. For some unknown reason, every time the man moved with difficulty, the tornado that had been swirling with tremendous force was being pressed down as if by some supernatural power.
"That's it."
GM Mugeon answered briefly. Just as Yoon Seok-ho was about to turn his head slightly and ask "What?", he witnessed something unbelievable and slightly opened his mouth.
"...Is that?"
For a moment, Yoon Seok-ho doubted his own perfectly good eyes. He couldn't believe what he was seeing was real.
[Crash crash crash.]
With a faint sound, the fierce wind in the screen began to change its shape, howling. What had been swirling upwards for a long time was painfully compressed as if being pressed down, and then stretched sideways as if something invisible was forcibly pulling it. The magic that appeared after completely transforming its shape looked like a long wall of wind. Yoon Seok-ho's eyes widened.
The man in the black robe in the screen, as if that wasn't the end, chanted another spell and created dozens of fireballs. The time it took up to that point was surprisingly short. Despite continuously operating tremendous magic spells without a break, the man's complexion remained surprisingly unchanged. Although his body looked so thin it seemed like it might be blown away by the hood and robe flaps fluttering as if about to burst behind him, Yoon Seok-ho knew that he had a body more solidly built than he appeared.
A strong will was etched on his face, which looked pale as if it hadn't seen the sun for years, briefly revealed between his wildly fluttering black hair. His sharp black eyes, still with a dark shade around them, no longer had the emotionless, dead light that Yoon Seok-ho had seen when he first met the man who had come to the company's port without warning, but now had a human-like gaze of challenge. A chill-like thrill ran through him at that cold yet hot gaze that seemed capable of piercing through anything.
If those eyes had been directed at him, it would have been unbearable. The explosive current of life that enveloped his surroundings and swirled fiercely looked like blade-like petals dancing. The scene continued, both chilling and captivating to the viewer. The man standing at the center looked like some absolute being.
After a brief pause, as soon as the man saw the monster approaching, he unhesitatingly controlled dozens of fireballs, throwing them all at once as if piercing through the wall of wind.
Then an even more amazing thing happened. The flames that seemed about to go out when thrown into the forcibly twisted wall of wind suddenly flared up like separate living beings within the fierce current, along with the man's shout. This magic, which looked as if flames were embedded in the wall of wind, began to move forward towards the monster following the man's hand gestures.
It was then that the wall of wind began to move on its own, its shape gradually shaking and changing. At first moving slowly, it soon accelerated, and now, along with the flames riding the wind, it began to run across the field like a wave rather than a wall. Grass and trees were uprooted and blown away by the tremendous wind current, and the air vibrated. But that was just the beginning.
Whoosh!
"Good heavens..."
A low groan involuntarily escaped from between Yoon Seok-ho's lips.
What had initially been just a wave of wind suddenly began to look as if flames were clinging to the wind as its speed increased. Like a small spark spreading in the wind and catching onto a large forest, in the blink of an eye, the "wind and fire" became a "wind of fire." As if a legendary phoenix had appeared, a huge wave of wind with a shell of fire on its head rushed forward with an unstoppable momentum, swallowing the boss monster that looked so small in front of it, appearing like a black insect. The magic that defied nature covered the earth like a waterfall, filling the screen.
A tremendous sound, though small, burst forth as if to break through the screen. Yoon Seok-ho, who had been mesmerized by the overwhelming sight, momentarily worried that even the magic caster might have been swept away by the magic's range, which filled the screen even from the overhead angle, and looked for the man. Only after discovering that the black robe was safely standing behind, having even cast a Magic Shield, did he exhale briefly.
A moment later, when the magic subsided, Yoon Seok-ho was surprised once again. The boss monster had not died but had survived even in that sea of fire.
He had thought it would surely die, but it hadn't.
'The range of the magic might have been too wide for the power to be concentrated,' he thought.
