Turning Chapter 1116

Chapter 1116

The rough and sharply surging impulse suddenly halted at the sudden clarity of his mind.

'What was I just thinking.'

Yuder clenched his fist so tightly that his nails dug into his palm. He bit his tongue hard enough to jolt his mind awake and shook his head roughly, and only then did his head seem to clear a bit.

'This is ridiculous.'

Resisting this impulse with a clear mind was an unbelievably difficult task. It was incomprehensible how Kishiar had managed to hold himself embracing Yuder during his heat until Nathan Zuckerman arrived. He felt like he was reconfirming that Kishiar's patience was at an abnormal level.

No matter how sweet this scent was, he shouldn't be swept away by it more than necessary. That wasn't the right path for Kishiar.

This time, he had to protect him. It was something only Yuder Aile could do, no one else.

The moment he thought that, the heat and sweet temptation his body was feeling began to recede little by little within Yuder. Yuder slowly steadied his breath and knocked on the door three times, slowly, for the last time.

"Kishiar. I already told you I have no intention of letting you endure your heat alone. You remember, don't you? If there's no answer, I'm coming in."

"...No."

Finally, an answer came from inside.

"The condition... is too different from before. It seems dangerous, so no."

"That's your misconception. It's not dangerous."

"Please, Yuder..."

The voice that had seemed to become a little clearer sank again, and the last call almost changed into that of a suffering beast. Although it wasn't pleasant to hear, Yuder conversely became certain through that desperate call.

'I was mistaken because the scent exploded so tremendously... but the heat hasn't properly come yet.'

A person consumed by instinct doesn't suffer like that. Didn't he already know that from experiencing it himself first? Although it's unbelievable that he's emitting this much scent in a state where it hasn't properly started yet, he thought that if he could go in and properly stimulate the internal energy now and share his scent with Kishiar without holding back, they might be able to achieve their original goal.

So, it wasn't too late yet.

'No. Perhaps this might even be the optimal moment to do what we couldn't do until now.'

Whatever it was, the situation where things that hadn't moved were now greatly shaken could, conversely, be an opportunity to move things as he desired. Yuder made his decision and stepped back one step.

"I'm coming in. If you use force, you could stop me, but then my hand will break. If that's what you want, do it!"

As soon as he finished speaking, he threw his fist. His fist, imbued with the power of wind, accurately shattered the door handle and pierced through the door itself.

With a violent sound, the latch that had been locked inside couldn't withstand the force and was torn off in an instant. Yuder took advantage of that gap to enter. The door that had hit the wall once with a thud swung back, brushing against Yuder's back as it returned to its original position. Although there was a noise as if the wall would collapse, the door somehow managed to close back into the doorframe without completely breaking.

Yuder confirmed the figure of the man half-kneeling in front of him. The blanket and pillow from the bed not far away had been dragged in his direction and were strewn about. It seemed he had rolled off after lying down and then crawled here, dropping them along the way, and all the furniture from there to here was in disarray, showing how much he had struggled. Yuder's heart painfully clenched once at the sight of the man curled up as if crumpled in the room where his usual neat appearance was nowhere to be seen.

The enormous amount of scent flowing from Kishiar's body. He was glad that only he could sense the scene where it filled the room like fog beyond a haze. If he hadn't already forbidden others from entering the second floor and limited the work radius of awakeners, including the Northern Branch members, to outside Peletta Castle, he didn't want to imagine what kind of situation it would have become.

Yuder approached slowly, making footsteps as if showing he had no intention to attack. Just before Yuder broke down the door, the flow of air around Kishiar was rough and sharp, as if he had barely suppressed his reflexive attempt to use force.

"Are you alright?"

"...Cough."

The moment Yuder finally placed his hand on the man's back, he coughed weakly. Between his red lips heated by fever, even redder drops of blood flowed down. For a moment, Yuder was startled, thinking he might have suffered internal injuries, but fortunately, it was just blood from biting his lips.

Yuder reached out to wipe away the blood, but Kishiar turned his head away, breathing heavily.

"..."

It was the first time he had seen Kishiar La Orr avoid him to this extent. Yuder felt a fresh sensation again. Knowing why he avoided him, it didn't feel like rejection. He just felt sorry, curious, and on the other hand, a little angry.

The subject of his anger was, of course, not Kishiar, but the situation itself that had made him like this. His own fault was clearly the biggest part of it.

'I stayed downstairs for too long today. I should have come back earlier.'

Seeing the trembling body that seemed to be struggling to control itself somehow, Yuder spoke as quickly as possible.

"Listen. As the person experiencing it, you naturally feel it, but right now the heat hasn't properly started... no, it's a situation where it 'hasn't even begun due to resistance'. If left like this, you'll suffer for an unpredictably long time. But I think that's why this is the moment to execute our plan. Do you understand what I mean?"

Only then did the deeply bowed head move a little. Beyond the frighteningly pale cheek, red eyes deeper than ever like fresh blood captured Yuder's face. In those eyes, Yuder saw the scene of instinct and reason crossing countless times in a flash. Just meeting that gaze, swaying chaotically as if wanting to push Yuder away or bite him, made his body tingle and feel chilly.

In fact, Yuder would have been fine with whatever he did here.

However, this was the only chance to talk before that. Yuder met his eyes without fear and whispered desperately.

"...Didn't you say you would entrust it to me, that you trust me?"

The man's eyes, which had been staring for a long time with a face that made it impossible to tell if he had heard or not, slowly disappeared back between his eyelids after a while. Kishiar, who had been silent, breathing roughly with his eyebrows softened as if in pain, finally nodded.

"...I trust you."

That painful and heartbreaking whisper.

At the same time, the strength drained from the body that had been trembling, trying not to lean on Yuder. Yuder somehow managed to keep his balance without falling, despite staggering unsightly for a moment. He moved towards the bed, using the power of wind to distribute the weight. As he laid Kishiar on the bed, trying to minimize damage to his body, rapid breaths escaped from both their lips simultaneously.

Even though he hadn't done much, he was out of breath and his whole body was drenched in sweat. Despite it being winter, Yuder's body was also burning hot due to the heat emanating from Kishiar.

'It's like... moving while carrying about ten boulders at the top of a mountain where it's hard to even breathe.'

He roughly took off his outer clothes, rolled up his shirt sleeves, and straddled the thigh of the lying man. The already frighteningly hard thing beneath his buttocks pressed heavily against his skin, and Kishiar let out a low moan.

"Hah..."

His outstretched hand gripped Yuder's thigh hard enough to hurt. It seemed like he was trying to push him away, but Yuder grasped that hand to stop it and immediately tore the clothes near the exposed chest.

"There's no time to waste."

"..."

"I'm fine. So trust me and entrust your body to me. Whatever happens, I'll stay with you."

His hand touched the exposed skin below.

Their gazes met.

Soon, one of Yuder's eyes shone with a bright golden light.

Geez poor Kishiar, in many ways he’s suffering more than Yuder did during his heat because his greatest fear his whole life has been losing control. He just needs to trust his bae :( Yuder basically just breaking the door down (and maybe the wall) was kinda funny tho ngl

Yeah, that’s the vibe I get as well, that there’s some secret to awakeners successfully having kids together that the other timeline hadn’t figured out yet, and Kishiar and Yuder are the ones who will figure it out (not necessarily through a kid of their own, but it could be possible). If not, it would make no sense for the red stone to create new genders (A/O) capable of getting pregnant, what would be the point of it biologically? Everything else the red stone has done has had its purpose slowly being discovered. The author just takes a very slow burn to work these issues out in the story. Yuder only JUST started consistently calling Kishiar by name haha.

It seems more to me that adoption is discussed as an option, but they’re going to focus on figuring out how awakened couples bonds and kids work for the sake of every awakener. I don’t think it’s right to say one way or the other yet. I do think they both need to start thinking a little more seriously about some form of birth control during heats if they don’t intend to accidentally make a kid, though lol

Woooo ok let’s fix him up good Yuder

Even with that; there’s nothing really saying something can’t happen? And questions can be asked, but saying “did you read it” like that is just being a d

Hey, can’t blame me for asking. “And maybe something -cough- will created”. Author hinting in the previous chapters that they intent to adopt for various reasons, like the royale bloodline and their vessel

Although Awakener Alpha-Omega pairs do not appear to be able to have children, they have only existed for 2 years. Kishiar and Yuder are also outliers - with an absurd level of power. Kishiar also set laws into motion for Awakeners covering marriage for Alpha-Omega pairs and issues of inheritance. And, the Emperor reinstated Kishiar's right to succeed the throne. So, despite current belief that these two cannot have children, groundwork has been laid for them to continue the Imperial line. I don't know what the author will do, but it seems unnecessary to include this info if the possibility of Kishiar and Yuder having children is absolutely off of the table.

Yk, no I just jumped in to chapter ✨1116 ✨ randomly😬???

Mkslushi

Did you read the previous chapters 🤔

Rojin

It hurts to see how much this is affecting him- I hope this passes safely and maybe something -cough- will be created ☺️
