Something I haven't done for a while is showing the before and after edit versions of an image.

It's pretty easy with this one as all I did was apply the "Wet Plate - Brush Painted" preset from Exposure X :) and then fiddle with opacity and zoom for the border. Took it into photoshop and removed a few small blemishes us...

PAPER STUCK TO FOREHEAD

Aurora had a shoot where the photographer had these bits of paper that he stuck to Aurora's head and some tulle. She came home with the pieces intact, we went out to dinner, then we did a shoot. We stole the look in other words.

A set we shot last year using a piece of plastic that a new mattress was delivered in. Light was natural of course with a small supplemental ceiling lamp. Shot in the daytime. Holding the camera in one hand and positioning the plastic with the other hand for each shot was kind of awkward but I’m very happy with the results....
