Dark and Light
Same image with different exposure.I always struggle to find the right exposure for the artist to sketch.I usually spend anywhere from 30min. up to an hour editing an image and to find the right balance of light and shadow.

I hope these images inspire you to draw. Shasta is a beautiful Rwandan model but difficult to light and edit. I lightened some areas in order to bring out more detail. I hope this will be easier to sketch and still be faithful to her skin tone.
