Hi guys! Just so you know, I’ll be at the Los Angeles Comic Convention this year on Dec 2nd through the 4th.

Not gonna lie, I had a lot of trouble with their design. My first version of them (in the last few images) just was not working for me so I redesigned their hair several times.

I got a little stressed at one point because I had to have a final design for them by the end of the season and I settled on one just a few day...

I was excited to get to this episode because it’s the first one in the new area, and it’s also sort of kappa and siren’s first “date” though they don’t really call it a date, they just sort of go off on their own for a bit.

The boys get their new outfits in this episode ;) I’ve attempted to simplify kappa’s outfit and make his more symmetrical to counter siren’s asymmetrical one (It’s also a little similar to his witch cape) But there’s a chance I might still make adjustments.

And pagoon makes an appearance.

I still have a ton of stuff to prepare but so far I’ve been messing around with color palettes and figuring out what the boys are gonna look like in season3. Also been thinking about the kelp forest. None of these colors are final yet but these are some of my ideas ;)

Two of the new species are going to be based on sea slugs and flying fish. I spent a long time trying to figure out if I wanted the sea slugs to have weird wiggly legs lol.
