This script is completely J's baby and very much based on his actual dad.  :)  

He didn't plan on it being a three-parter, but once I started breaking the text down into panels, it became apparent that it was never going to fit in the 10 slides Instagram allows!

One day I discovered a rogue pen lid on the floor.  Luckily for me, it was just a kids pens and the fallout wasn't too widespread and most definitely washable!  A comic idea was born!

The big challenge in this one was to not make Fran look too cold.  It's supposed to be an innocent enough exchange between parent and non parent friends -just the idea that Fran's "seen some things".

I started with the "WAAAAAHHHH!" coming from the TV, but we were worried it might be misinterpreted as crying coming...

Making of "Parenting Hell"

Another idea we've been sitting on until Halloween.  I had such fun realizing this one!  

The original plan was to have the demons silently judging, with Fran delivering the line, but we decided having some demonic "Karens" would be funnier!

I had Fran trying to drag Vincent up in the initial sketch, but...
