This shows the evolution between raw graphite & shading. Not to mention the colors after scanning.
As often I'm more into the pure graphite rendering, but I beat myself up to keep on coloring some artworks, hehe!

Let's warm our hearts and... eyes!
It's funny to get the perfect process for the image you're creating in mind and still getting surprised by the result.
The step by step will definitely going to be interesting on this one, you'll see. Thanks for supporting my art!

I'm starting to work with ink again lately, it's a bit like hanging out with an old friend all over again, hehe!
Drawing huge light & shadow contrasts brings me back to some early artwork I was doing much younger, hehe.
Thanks for the support!

If you look closely, you can see how the hair volume was not quite there at first, and also his look changed. As often, his hair body was a delicious part of the process, hehe!
Thanks for the support ;-)

I was not that convinced with the light graphite rendering at first. Sometimes I feel like there's such a HUGE gap betwwen this early step and the final drawing!

He's a french model & actor I've been following for some time now. Of course I knew I'd have to draw him someday, and that day is today, for a last movember touch!
That man has this kind of beauty that goes beyond physical: he has this little something charming, sensitive, touchy. And it's a rare and precious thing. ...

You know when you're just spotting your right spot. ^^
A bit of kinky & fetish this time, and lots of graphite as usual!

I was carried away when doing the shading: I rushed on the little background, so only 3 stages here, haha!
The fun fact is I didn't know where I was going at first: I didn't intend to draw him the tattoes or add some fetish gear. But here we are!

For once, I kinda like the colors as much as the black & white drawing! It's always a pleasure to draw some leather haha! :-P
Thanks for the support!

I've been a fan of Kim since the eighties and nowadays she still tours a lot. I always thought about drawing her someday. This matches her "Close" era, the most successfull and my personal fav. The album is still a gem and the cover is one of my favorite ever.
Sketch & step by step following later for my patrons. Thanks fo...

It's been a while I didn't draw an asian people, so here ya go! I enjoyed adding some background, usually I rather without and just don't care.
Maybe I'll go for some colors too and then edit a step by step.
Hope you like it & thanks for the support!

There you have a complete look at all steps. I made a stop a bit longer at the final graphite rendering.
Clearly I rather the original drawing. I thought I succeeded in creating a good coloring but it crushes the graphite artwok. Maybe this is due to the overall dark blueish sci-fi theme.

I had some struggle with his eyes. As usual, to be honest, I'm used to struggle when drawing the eyes. But here his eyes are wet, emotional and it's hard to render.

I started watching the Sci-Fi Tv series "The Expanse", and it's a good one with a big twist at the end of the very first episode. I just loved the play of actor Steven Strait so here's a little fanart of him!
Great as a practise for me as I have a Sci-Fi comic in store and I intend to launch it next year :-)

And everybody hurts.

When you trim so well the goods it seems you got twice the Stache!
I'm not that into mustache, but I can tell when it perfectly fits a guy. And as it's Movember time, I might do some more, hehe.

This one was really fun to do! I kinda rather the background without the "K" sign I draw and add as a special effect now, although it matches the pose of her arms.

I was pretty sure I was faithfull to the pic I used for her face here, but it didn't make it in the end.
It's really harder to portrait famous people with full body, pose, etc. When I just draw the face, upper body tops, it's more faithfull. I gotta do a real portrait of Kylie, now, hehe!

I've always loved this song from Kylie Minogue. It's the first one I loved in fact, back then: when "I should be so Lucky" was out I couldn't stand it, haha!
In the 80s videos, the outfits were surreal, and in the "Got to be Certain" vid, this look catched me badly, It was also on the cover of the single, ha! This is a l...

This shows the great deal between smooth and hairy: when I didn't draw the hair yet, I thought he was okay. But seeing the steps further he was soOo unfinished without the hair!!
