New Lens Testing

This is a 55mm 1.7mm lens called the Petzval mk ii. It's features are obvious with the swirl bokeh distortion. I will keep this lens in the kit for some moody outdoor shoots particularly for scenes with busy backgrounds such as a forest or city setting.

Natural light portraits with Steph. I typically use a 35 or 50mm lens at around 1.2 to 1.8 for a softer feel.

I love mornings when she will let me photograph her in a casual setting shortly after waking up. No makeup, no lights, just a natural setting which makes for some great memories as well.

Happy Monday Friends! I worked a really fun wedding yesterday, filming and photographing with Alex. I can definitely see my gym gains paying off. Also, they had decaf coffee for me at the end of the night and it made me so happy.
