Significant Issue Update: Good news!

So.

My antivirus was cannibalizing clean files.

I ran a full virus scan and nothing came up.  But apparently when I attempted to run VaM it would trigger that it was attempting to download resources automatically and was instead purging the file of the necessary items to actually run VaM...

Significant Issue: Keeping you all informed

I'm not quite sure what is going on, but I'll do my best to explain the situation.  When I tried to boot up VAM today, it failed to load.  On top of that, the .bat file which opens up the Desktop mode of VAM suddenly disappeared.  I reinstalled VAM and went to try again, but it duplicated the same issue...

It's a bit of a shorter series, but should be fun ;)
