Once Stevie got dressed and we walked the horse back to the barn, Stevie was able to give the horse a few treats, which they both enjoyed.

Unfortunately, the shoot couldn't last that long, due to the temperament of the horse, our schedule, and Tony's wife, who would be returning soon.

Stevie did great, not appearing nervous or jittery at all. She had no qualms about being naked bareback on the horse or in front of Tony, and at least for her part the shoot went very smooth.

These shots were Tony's personal favorites. He loved the way her hair matched the mane of the horse, and he repeatedly asked me to take more of such shots just for him.

I may be biased, but the angles from behind turned out best. The curve of Stevie's back side in the sun mimicked the curve of the horses rump fairly well, and I couldn't help but get several shots from that perspective.

But the largest complication was my normal movement, which would spook the horse or make it nervous from time to time. I needed to walk around it, trying to get the best angles and perspectives possible, but every time I got too close or make an unexpected noise, the horse seemed very unhappy.

For starters, even though the horse was well trained and Tony was good at controlling it, the beast still had a mind of its own. Then I had to find angles that looked good for both the animal and Stevie, who was doing her own thing.

Having only done one other shoot on a horse, with Brooke Eva (which I'll be posting next month), I knew it would be more complicated than a normal shoot, and it certainly was.

My friend Tony, a tall, strapping fellow I've known for years, had no idea what to expect, but knew my photos and was open to anything. When he met Stevie and heard she'd be getting naked, he just let out a chuckle, was silent for a long moment, then said under his breath "I'm just glad my wife went into town."

During Stevie's visit last month, I jokingly asked her if she could ride a horse, which of course she responded to favorably. Little did I know she was lying to me, she had never ridden a horse in her life.  But I took her at her word and arranged a last minute shoot with a friend whose horse ranch was nearby.

Her ghostly stare in this image haunts me, but I can't say exactly what emotion it conveys exactly. Part dread and fear, partly sensual and vulnerable, yet also conveying confidence. the best models can portray a variety of complex emotions into one facial expression.

With time running out before she had to leave for work, I had Danny put on the lingerie set she had worn previously, this time plugging her right into the lovely window light. The light at the 12th floor gave her a glow that I couldn't resist.

Sure, I replied, laughing as she slowly and dramatically put them on, giving me a cheesy wink as she casually raised and lowered them over and over again.

From there we moved into the bathroom, where she changed into the tightest, slinkiest black outfit I'd seen in a while. She made it all look so easy.

I also appreciated that since Danny doesn't work as a model, she had more of a natural, voluptuous shape. Her desire to model occasionally only helps her keep her mind in the zone of media and production, and as an MUA she is always busy studying new looks and styles.

Of all the great, iconic images we shot that morning, this may be my favorite. The symmetry,  colors,and tones all just fit into the happy place in my mind. Plus her stunning beauty doesn't hurt much, either.

After shooting in the sitting room, we returned to the bedroom for our third outfit change. As expected, Danny looked good in everything. And nothing.

I was also pleased with all the different locations I was able to shoot in around my suite. The chairs, curtains, and bedroom all had a vintage 1960s mood that fit perfectly with her personal aesthetic.

As a make-up artist and stylist, working with Danny was a breeze. She knew how to adjust her looks quickly and easily, and continued to look like a classic, porcelain doll.
