Hey, getting back into work with a small fun mechanic.

New enemy

Here, I added a new enemy, the flying one.
I also refined a bunch of things like allowing you to go to the world map and get back on a level.
I also changed the dialogue system and now using a much simpler system than the previous one. Took some time to make it look like I wanted it to look.

World Map

Here ya go, I finally finished the world map for Axyn with all the levels showing.
I spent a lot of time making it fancy and all.
I still have a few little things to adjust, but the biggest work is done.
What do you guys think ?

Save system

Ok so this update don't have anything too fancy, just a save file system completely working.
The crystals you obtained, the money you have, the outfit your wear, etc. all get saved and you can load and delete save files.
(I removed Axyn from the title screen just for it to be uploadable on youtube)

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to show off the new mechanics I implemented in the game.

We have :
- An improved dialogue system :
The camera places itself to face the NPC talking and enemies stopping to let you talk. (I also self inserted my fursona for the demo to explain the basics of the controls down the lin...

The town level

Here's a little teaser update on the town level. ;) I'm slowly approaching the end of the demo as I'm almost done with most of what I wanna show in it. I hope you'll all enjoy this game !

Hello, I'm going smoothly for the village level design. I think I'm satisfied with the overall blocking of it. Now I just need to put assets down, enemies, NPCs and collectibles.

I added a lil' bouncy mushroom and perfected the hit reactions of the enemies.

I'm sorry I'm a bit slow lately. Be assured I didn't give up, but I'm just being very slow. I think I just need some time. Recently I've been mainly working on enemies. I'll go back to making assets after that. And hopefully finally finish the demo of the game in not so long.

Ok, so I wanted to make a post about what comes next regarding Axyn.
So far, what do we have ?

1- The whole movement system.
It will probably need a few fixes in the long run, but I think I'm done with it.

2- The main mechanics of the game.
Dialogue system, the run mechanic, the collectibles, the stats, t...

Fleshing out the town level

I've finished a bunch of assets, mainly tress, bushes, rocks, islands, etc.
And wanted to show you how the town level looks like now, I'll probably add a few more islands, and the layout will be finished.

Plane controls

Today I can show you that I implemented plane controls for the plane race mini game.
It was a little change of pace from the core gameplay.

Today I made bunch of assets including floating islands, rocks and trees. I also started to flesh out the town level.
