Here's the line work for my newly named oc Goldie taking the road less traveled! When doing more realistic type pics I'll find a reference to use. I'll always make a few changes so I don't feel too much like I'm cheating. I prefer to do cartoon work with stylized proportions but you gotta play the field! :)

Line art is super hard for me, being a traditionally trained artist. I've only been doing digital art for about 5 years and I don't have a tablet I can draw directly on so this is usually the toughest part of the process.

Got the line work finished up! Looking forward to doing the hair for this character. I like to try and emulate the original art style as much as I can without making it exactly the same. Little things like the way the hair is detailed or shadow and highlights is what I normally focus on.
