I'm not familiar with the source material from which this character spawned, and I heard there was some controversy around her creator of which I'm not fully aware. But this design is pretty cool and I certainly believe a work of art can stand apart from it's creator.

Fun fact: Her original expression was that of anger, and I had planned for her to be mad at her sister for barging in, but at a quick glance she didn't look like she was angry. So I made some changes and alluded to stuff that I don't intend on drawing. XD
