We met in 2015, working the same party, and I finally got to do an actual shoot with her in 2018. She's one of those ridiculously gorgeous gals who doesn't quite see it herself, and I had to be really sensitive to her pacing and comfort level. I'd love to give her another stab at it, but she lives out of the country now.

… is a little difficult! A tragic burglary meant all my photos from 2017 (and half of 2016) are gone forever, with the exception of whatever I’d already backed up to Dropbox (which, at the time, was rather limited, even though I have the top storage package).

Was hired to shoot a couple New Years Eve parties on the 31st. It was very crowded, and very dark, at both venues. Tricky getting the camera to focus! I think my flash went through 12-16 AAs.

I’ll never forget what it was like meeting (and shooting with) Megan, who flew into Nashville in 2012 to meet me (we were Instagram friends) and together. It was a really meaningful experience because she has a number of chronic illnesses and our shoot really helped her connect with her body in a positive way.
