He's getting there! This is still a WIP, texture and rig (that'd be the thing that controls the model) are not yet complete, but I am satisfied with the models themselves. I'll be sharing more renders as I complete more parts of him, not least of which will be a new tongue.

Work in progress renders of the Chonky sculpt, plus a fan-art-ish paintover bonus resulting from a critique session someone was kind enough to give me. He's nearing completion, I am currently trying to decide if I should rearrange his chompy bits, or let him keep the OG drake selection of pointies.

Another rig test for "Top dolphin". I put a new tail controller on the dolphin, IK rather than FK, which allows me more fluid control which even if it is a little less intuitive to work with, will be the only way to really make this work. Test successful!

I was looking at this scene for research reasons (I swear!) when I found out that just by removing the one orca it opened up a whole new angle!
These are the sorts of things only elite artists with 15 years of experience would think of naturally, but either way I wanted to share this quick bonus render.
